11.20 – Week 10 Recap, Week 11 Preview and SJW Predictions

Sorry for not posting the recap on Tuesday, I was preoccupied with real life things and didn’t get around to it. There isn’t much to say about the matchups anyways so Im going to squeeze all these posts into one this week. (Got to conserve my dwindling supply of kawaii anime girl images too…)

11.12 – SJW Week 10 Predictions

If you want to know how rushed this post is, just know that Im writing it up in WordPress’s client instead of just writing in MS Word and then copypasta-ing 😛

Ellen Mao (12-6) vs McAfee’s Colts (2-16)

Not much to say here, should be an ez win for Mao. Maybe Coach vZ will set his lineup by Sunday?

My Pick: Ellen Mao

11.12 – Week 10 Preview

This week’s matchup is with Jeremy. Already embroiled in a matchup in fantasy basketball that is apparently worth the effort for him to set his lineup, hopefully I have a little more luck in football. Both of us have lost RB1’s (just in time for matchups vs Shubh might I add…) and find ourselves with nearly identical records. Earlier this season, I wasn’t able to pry away Cam and Evans from Jeremy in a trade and although it’s only one week, it’ll be interesting to see who evaluated that one correctly.

11.10 – Week 9 Recap

SJW:

fafa

Ayyy we won! Outside of Jmatt, no one really had an outstanding game, but floors were reached and that was enough as the backend of Jon’s lineup totally bottomed out this week.

11.5 – SJW Week 9 Predictions

McAfee’s Colts (2-14) vs The Walking Dez (4-12)

Congrats on your first win Coach vZ; a 2-0 to boot! Looks like half his squad is questionable this week, but the only one Im really concerned about playing is Hilton with a foot issue that’s kept him out of practice so far. Even if he can go, he’ll have his work cut out for him vs DEN. Djax is on track to return from his hamstring issue, but expectations should be tempered for the speedster. Cam battled the elements (and Ginn’s dropsies) and wasn’t able to bring home a W for Jeremy on MNF, but maybe he’ll have a little more luck vs GB. Jeremy’s studs, Ivory and Evans, have great matchups this wk and I expect Andrews/Barnidge/Snead/Yeldon will help him break this 7 game losing streak.

My Pick: The Walking Dez

11.5 – Week 9 Preview

Alrighty, here we go, a real clash of the titans this week. This week JL and I clash to see who will climb up the standings to potentially earn a better seed in the upcoming Gurley Bowl. Neither of us is probably going to make the playoffs, but do you think NYG and DAL would just mail it in if they were both winless either? Nah fam, this one’s for bragging rights as I try and get revenge for my stat correct loss in CoDG earlier.

11.4 – ATML Team Draft Recap (JL Guestpost!)

Ayyy!! Special shoutout to my man JL for this guestpost 🙂 . This the good shit right hurr – Andy

Since the fantasy football season hasn’t been a disappointment (sigh) and I now have to deal with the grade school level trash talking from Shubh and Vishnu, I’ve decided to dump all of the (little) knowledge on football to make room for the basketball season. Mr. Tsundere has given me the opportunity to do a little write up on each of the 10 teams we have this year. Most of my thoughts of players come from what I remember last year, this year’s situations, and of course, the upside (HYPE!). It’s important to keep in mind that we’re only a few games in at this point in the season, so I’ll try not to overreact/underreact.
